the fam ::: my wife Tami and I actually met here at the church many years ago.  We really did not pay much attention to each other until after I began to focus my life on campus ministry at Western Michigan University. We have a daughter Ellie whom God entrusted to our care on August 14, 2006.  She is the most beautiful little girl alive and daddy’s “little princess.”

wish to be ::: the best daddy in the whole wide world, the best husband in the universe, and a life-long-learner in the ways of Jesus.

things you should never tell me ::: Tami is taller; Ellie is not a “princess”; or that KFirst is anything but great; you have to be perfect to be a follower of Jesus.

i'd like to say to the people of KFirst ::: together we are in the middle of a wonderful journey, with beautiful landscapes to explore – and we need to be careful not to let this beauty callously pass us by.  We each need to take in as much as we can in order to learn and grow, and give out as much as we can to serve and build.  Let’s make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
