Pursuing opportunities to communicate Jesus’ message to people within their cultural context.

The were many detours along Jesus’ path that could have served as quiet exit points. But Jesus came to serve - not to take the easy way out. There are many exit points that circumstances will tempt you to take. The joyful satisfaction of fulfilling God’s will in your life will be missed if you take the exits that come your way. Jesus has a plan for your life.

Some ways to practice being Missional are:

* Become involved in church ministry for the age group that suits your giftings. We offer targeted ministry to various age groups.

* Help to meet the ongoing needs of Kalamazoo via our inner-city ministry, the Kalamazoo Dream Center.

* Participate in our annual Summer Celebration of Hope in the inner city of Kalamazoo where we feed and give clothing to thousands of people.

* Spend time on a foreign and / or domestic missions trip.

* Visit and pray for those sick and hurting in our local hospitals.

* Purposefully get to know your neighbors.

To live out this core value means that I will live my life in constant commitment to servant-hood and my find place of ministry no matter how great or small.
